A minor “accident technique” with the computer last night … or I could blame different time zone issues. Or, I could just own up to the fact that occasionally the daily posts are not going to be quite so “daily” as the word might imply. With the WWCL Game App on iTunes everything is shipshape and Bristol fashion, and in full technicolor glory, with the Game Board and stunning sound effect! … the way these posts work will be a tad more casual, with some minor delays possible due to interruptions caused by my work schedule, IT issues, spiritual retreats or “birds sitting on telephone wires”.
This, of course, is all for the good as meditators should be able to take minor delays, scheduling changes, and information technology issues in their stride, staying cool, calm and collected, or as my favourite Vipassana teacher is fond of saying ~ equanimous ~
Island Card (N-100, N-103 on the scorecard)
~ On board ss Mayan Sun, sailing from St.Vincent, you visit St.Lucia and see one of the most magnificent views in all of the Caribbean. Two half-mile high spikes (Petit Piton and Gros Piton) stand guard over Jalousie Bay and the St.Lucia Rainforest Reserve with its banana trees, giant ferns, towering bamboo, vines and orchids. Living in this forest are the endangered jacquot (parrot), also the Antillian crested and the purple-throated hummingbird. These as well as indigenous thrashers, orioles, pee-wees and wrens make the island a dream for lovers of the outdoors. ~
