Island Card (visiting Island N-103)
~ St.Vincent’s Botanical Gardens are home to some amazing examples of Nature: The Tree of Life, with it’s unbelievably hard wood; the sandpaper tree, with rough and coarse leaves; the “velcro” tree, to which material sticks; the waterproof lily; also the sealing wax palm, the Mahogany tree with it’s exploding pods and the cannonball tree whose open flowers fall to the ground at nightfall leaving a fragrance of Jasmine in the air. ~
